GTI International 2008 Sprint Results Now Available

The sprint results from GTI International 2008 are now online, giving an overall view of the 1/4 sprint which took place over the two day show. Well done to a few uk-mkivs regulars who managed to grab top spots in various classes over the two day event.

Due to bad weather on Saturday the times recorded for that day are somewhat slower than Sunday, but overall there were some great times put in. Most notable are the MK4 class times for Wilko with his monster 1.8T pushing well over 350hp.

Class 4 Sprint results since amended: Wilko was awarded trophy on the day for his 13.906 but we subsequently had an appeal from Phil Mann who ran a faster time (13.854), but his car had been incorrectly logged as DC class. John has very kindly / sportingly agreed to forward the trophy on to Phil. The amended results will appear in the event report in next issue of VW Driver mag.
