Noting the number plate RS branding - could this be a hint to the next installment of the performance orientated approach VW seem to be taking?
Sporting similar (if not the same) front bumper and side skirt design as the excellently titled "Thunderbunny" concept (see images blow), which debuted
at the 2006 SEMA show in Vegas. Could this of been a first peak at the new model?
Also interesting to note are the Passat R36 wheels - could this hint to the power plant under the bonnet?
It would certainly be very fitting, given the speculation over the last two years regarding the long fabled
new performance replacement for the original MKIV R32 model.
