Car Of The Year 2008

A few words from Jake:

Well what can i say, it was good just to win car of the month, let alone to get car of the year. As most of you'll know im mad about cars, I go through enough of them Smile. Cars are both my passion and my livelyhood. UK-MKIVs for has helped both grow, i started out searching for a forum for my new car, back then a standard aum golf gti and it didn't take long til I found you lot, and the rest is history.... I feel I'm part of an online family who are willing to help people they know.

On a business point of view, we started advertising on the forum about a month or so ago, and while things like this take time we are steadily growning in the VW scene and have done numerous cars off the forum, tagging in the remapping too makes it even better as i get to go out in lots of different vag cars lol

I'd just like to say a massive thank you to those who have voted for me, although I dont have my car (I'm still kicking my self - bloodly subaru). I'm always going to be around the vw scene. I'd also like to say a huge thank you to the guys at uk-mivs too for allowing me to be part of the forum and advertising our business too, and finally a thank you to all those who have supported my business, esp in the current climate of uncertant.

it is indeed worthy of car of the year. Ive seen it around Norwich a few times. Just drove past this car after the gym tonight and thought to check out the spec listed on here. A very nice example of how to mod a MK4
