Billing Aquadrome - September 9th & 10th.
What
a great weekend, I really can't thank everyone enough for turning up to
show support and getting involved. It was great to see some many new
and familiar faces at the event - I hope you all enjoyed it as much as
we did?
I
don't think we could of planned it any better, what, with the weather
we've had lately, I was quite worried it would be chuckin' it down as
usual, but, instead, the sun was cracking the flags. Billing, yet
again, proved to be an ideal venue for the Mega Meet. This year we were
in the south section of the holiday park which proved to be a lot
quieter and more secluded than other sections. Due to other events
being held (Audi S2 Club Meet and Modified Mayhem), I think we were put
out of the way which certainly played into our advantage!
We had
over 40 cars turn up on Sunday which exceeded the expected amount we
had forecast. There were some great cars on show from Golfs, Boras and
even a few Lupos thrown in for good measure. With the revised parking
layout (basically a 'U' shape) it made it easier for cars to be parked
and viewed. We will certainly be using this layout again.
