I was about to say, I've never noticed how well they blend into the interior. I'm not a fan, but that does look OEM. I'm warming to it.

Do they come with iPod adapters? where you can read the playlists etc?

thank you, i am proud of it.

but i'm thinking about changing the colour of the wheels? what do you reckon?

possibly even copying Dent's LCR rims with the red center pinstripe but going a shade lighter than his for the rest of the wheel!

i don't know, all i know is is i'm itching to try something!

used a spare lower centre grille mesh and cut the slats off the VW grille and got the bodyshop to fill/rounden the badge and paint black.

then hours of trimming, fitting, trimming, fitting till end result.

    love it!

Love this car, great work. You should paint those calipers man, black or red or something! And later on, when/if needed, refurb the wheels to a darker grey, gunmetal or something, it'd look well good...

Can I ask where you got the red GTI badge from?

funnily enough i am in the process of painting the calipers, RED! just haven't got round to it.

got the badge from TMTuning. was about £15 posted to the UK.

not touchin the wheels, went past that phase a while ago!
