could be very tight, they didn't fit 15"s to any of the cars with those brakes as standard so maybe they wont?

I've got the same set up on my 115 with 17'' wheels, there isn't much space left behind those! I'm pretty sure you will need 16'' minimum.

The only way to fit 312's on your car is to use the hubs from the 130/150/180 cars (288mm), because the 280mm calipers on yours are cast into the hubs.

They will not fit behind 15's either, 16's are leaving it tight.

He says he has already got the hubs, he just needs some bigger wheels to go with them nowStick out tongue

Sorry mate, couldn't resist, You will definetely need bigger alloys though, 16's are the minimum, The 4motion has the 312mm as standard and they come with 16's, and there isn't much room left with them.

Does anyone know if you can fit these brakes behind a set of 16" split rims?

If they're the 16" BBS RXII's that came on some mkiv's, then no, you can't.

Depends if he runs any spacers up front,he might be able to squeeze them on.

Am I guessing that without spacers the Mk3 Anniversary alloys wont fit then?

What about a set of 16" Santa Monica's?

Santa monica's are 17" wheels, but yes, they'll fit over 312s.

Ahh right.  They're 'Brands hatch' wheels.  They'll fit - the V6 4Mo got 312 front brakes as standard.
