right then,
ive had a serious car weekend this weekend! its been great, but flippin frustrating at times...
so, the coilies went on quite easily. the problem came when i wanted to adjust it all.

i wanted to go loooooow, and i knew i had to solve the ARB - Driveshaft issue. this is why i bought the adjustable droplinks. but ive come to the conclusion that they are crap. i had in my head the image that the links needed to extended to solve the clearance problem but the adjustable ones are at full stretch as long as the old ones and can only get shorter
. but anyway, i thought it must one of those head churning thing that are just best left to the pro's.

so, after its all been fitted. the coilies, droplinks and spacers i had to adjust it all for it to look and sit right... 4 hours passed before that happened.

so, first off we (me and my mechanic mate Taphouse (cheers boy
) ) set the ride hight to what i wanted. this was pretty much governed by the back as they were wound as low as pos and i wanted to gap to be quite even all round.
this was sort of a pain because when we adjust the last coil the first one seemed to have got lower.. anyway we finally sorted it.
then the ARB and Driveshaft was fowling, 'no problem' i thought 'just adjust the drop link'. but for some reason the shorter i made it the worse the grinding got with the fouling.
so unfortunatly i had to raise the front up to sort it. not really what i wanted but for the time being it will have to do till i get a bigger hooped ARB.
(sorry for carrying on lol)
so that was Saturday 1.30pm till 7.30pm....
next day i carried on with some other mods; De-wiper the back (simple enough, the only bugger was finding a 27mm blanking grommet... thanks Ford Transit! lol) ~ bodge jobbed the Airbox ( again no real prob, just drill it full of holes!) ~ and i also fitted a fire extinguiser in the passenger footwell...
then i cleaned it... and this is the final result, i hope you all like!
