hopefully some one could guide me right with thias one or agree that i have already answered it

the turbo on the pd 150 is larger than the turbo on the pd 130 is it the turbo that causes the little bit of extra lag the pd 150 has or as i suspect the VERY MUCH LARGER front mounted intercooler pd 150 as a possed to the smaller side mounted pd 130

answer would be nice so i can worranrt going bigger turbo

Turbo is bigger as far as I know...........

Can't see the intercooler making any difference to lag but may be wrong.

i looked at it this way the bigger the intercooler the more air that is needed to fill it the more air the more time the turbo would take to get to a point it is actual causing a pressure to the head

    agree or disagree

i am open to being victomised or put down a peg or two if my therpy is not sound

but as i said i need to know cause i didnt want to waste money doing the modes just to loose drive ability IE gain LAG

bigger intercoolers and bigger turbos create more lag.

it takes longer for the turbo to pressurise the air in the charge side(from turbo, through intercooler into inlet manifold)

the PD115 does not have alot of lag, partly down to the small turbo, and very small intercooler pipework.

You will also find the length of the the pipework to the FMIC is a lot longer on the 150, this will also increase the lag

the next part of the question or answer is that would there be more LAG  how ever much more it is if i use the bigger turbo as it would take longer to spool up?
