only just started listening to , funny enough i was actually downloading dance stuff from limewire at the time.

As a fellow DJ i gota say pretty nice mixin. a bit bass heavy on the mix sometimes but all in all pretty damn good mate.

I used to spin electro, minimal and techno when i was living in Benidorm couple years back, it was the big thing back then so had to get into it. im more of a Drum and Bass head myself, but im liking the beats man... keep up the good work!

Heres a lil pic of me doing my thing in spain. it was on a boat aswell you can see the water in the background... kept on crapping myself the needle would skip. but they have the craziest dam stand that ive ever seen. It stays perfectly level even tho the boat is swishing about its on some like counterlever device... pretty ingenious! shame the mixer they had was CRAP! still a wicked night. 

What gear are you spinnning on? I have a Numark 5000FX mixer, pair of Teckies mk5 and two denon cd tabletops, ones the DNS-5000 and the other the DNS-3500... the 3500 is wicked for scratching... love it!

i was never an electro man my self, more into trance and rock lol (anything extreme lol) until my mate gave me electro house sessions and ive been hooked ever since.  that les djinns track in amazin

loving mixes tho mate.  may have a download fest on my hands lol.

Senn HD25 Headphones

I also have 2 x Gemini 2410 turntables which I bought about 10 years ago but they don't really get used anymore

I only got back into Djing towards the end of last year after about 4 years away so thats why the mixes are still a it bass heavy. I'm still leaning and don't get much chance to practice due to work commitments and no wanting to upset the neighbours to much.

I'm getting bored of electro now too. Its started to get very popular as mentioned above which means alot of the stuff being released sounds very mainstream   90% of it is garbage so I'm still trying to find my style.

I will check you mixes out for sure. What equipment are you using? Do you go on Djforums.com? 

I am indeed pekingprawn2, currently using a combo of cdj-1000's, pioneer djm600 mixer and the laptop! Had a more in depth listen to your mixes and i like your quick mix style.

I was always taught the long mix method, harder to learn to start but it meant my beat matching held up for longer, so my mixes are a little tighter. I like to hear shorter mixing now though with the music becoming a bit techier than when i learned it sounds too complex over long mixing.

I was never taught how to mix. I just bought some decks and taught myself. I gave up for a few years and just got back into it about 7 months months ago so I'm still learning. I wouldn't mind learning how to scratch but its well hard!

I didn't think I did short transitions? Some are short and some are longer?

 Just sold my Technics 12/10 mk2 cos ive bought myself a Pair of Pioneer CDJ1000 mk3 with the Pioneer DJM800 mixer with proper flight case costing £3000 but to be fair its the best setup ive ever used of all the clubs ive worked at

Nice set up man. MK3's are awesome but I still think the DM800 is very overpriced. You can get mixers just as good, if not better for a lot less money. Still an awesome set up tho buddy.
