it says earlier in this thread you're sposed to stick a bockle of this stuff through about once every 10k...

is it bad to use it more often than that?

i'm thinking of putting a few through my car to give it a reet good clean.

might fill the fuel filter with it one time as well.

I've stuck a second bottle in mine as it had 74k of build up, it can't do any harm. I'm not so sold on the sticking it in neat theory though - I'm sure I'm just being over cautious, but surely they'd stick it on the intructions if it was fine.

^ ^ Ditto, I need some. Got a service coming up soon and I want to lash some in.

Where is the fuel filter on the PD150 located btw? May as well change it.

Theres a place near me that sells it. If anyone wants any getting for them & posting out, I don't mind doing that.

Or if you go on the Forte website or even give them a ring. They should be able to tell you were the nearest stockist is.

I know Lookers VW in Blackburn sell it, or at least have it in their stock room as I was having a look at it a couple of weeks back when I was in with Lee

Nearly bought some but I've also heard good things about the BG44K but it's expensive ~£25 a bottle

Tabs - that's it on the left above the washer bottle and below the coolant reservoir and to the left of the power steering fluid reservoir (ignore the red circle round the MAF, took the picture for something else a while back).

Dead easy to do - hoses off (helps to have some rags handy here!), undo the retaining clamp and remove then just drain out the diesel from it and put new one in. Yes

I found a local stockist by using the link provided by Kalu on pg1 about the good garage scheme.

Must try this, going for service in 2 weeks time.

So, it's just as easy as bunging a 400ml into the fuel tank? nothing else required?

If your going to buy from ebay DONT get any from this guy

    djdandmod

I bought some from him as a buy it now, he didn't bother to send any out and I had to put in a dispute to get my money back.  Which eventually he did after a barage of emails sent his way!

No, but it's just a cleaner not a cetane booster like Millers so I don't think there is meant to be a noticeable difference to be honest.

Apart from feeling all righteous because you're being nice to your fuelling system Smile

I doubt if it would be 'noticeable' performance-wise though to be honest... but I'm certainly not an expert.
