Wet dream ?? young biker? young or old, this is the best bike for any age. and one of the best 400cc bike's ever made.

Foam filter, power comander and full titanium system needed, then no body will stop you then.

Maybe Ohlins front and rear and steering damper

Will eat 600 Bandits all day and with the setup above wont be far behind the older crop of 600cc sports bikes.

Only other bike i would rather have is the aprillia RS250. also very fast 600cc eater

     Nice bike

Had a NC30 about a year ago - get ready to be buying kneesliders every couple of weeks. GReat bikes and on the twistys can keep up with most 600's

Nice bike. Great fun and really reliable Honda V4. Ive got its younger brother .... a 1999 RVF400. Awesome machine on a twisty road on a summers day. Here's a pic ....

I wish my insurance was that cheap but saying that, im only 18 so i can't complain.

    You got any mod's planned!?

i think if its your first bike that should be enough,im 12 and half stone and my zxr 400 coped ok.you dont want anything bigger for first bike really, these 400s are fairly quick but also very forgivin which to learn on are great.

a work mate just passed his test went out bought a kwak zx636r and there no point as he not got any experience he's scared to death and only uses it on straights,a because of the power and b because its to nice to damage

my zxr 400 be up for sale shortly if anyone interested

Nah, a 400 would soon shift you about. When my dad goes on it he manages fine and hes just over 13stone. The only thing is the 400's are quite low to the ground so if you are really tall you might find it slightly uncomfortable. I'm not sure how tall i am and im only 9 and a half stone and i fit on it quite well. The previous owner had the suspension set up for his weight so when ive got a bit of money saved ill get it tweaked so its perfrect for me.

Also, for anyone thinking that they might own a bike at some point in their life, do the test NOW as the test is changing this year .... august or september i think. Get out there and do it.

When younger always wanted a VFR/RVF, went down the route of ZX-6R, then ZX7-RR, then R1, then this little beaut!  Sold it about 18 months ago, due to working away, and not using it.

The 7R, was without doubt the best bike I have had, the 748 runs it close, but with a Dynojet, full Yoshimura exhaust it was so much fun to ride!

The 748, i bought it with a few bits needed sorting, but got there in the end
