Hi there, im just wondering if any one has pics of what oil lines and water coolant lines are needed?

The pictures i have found are different than mine. The part numbers on my lines differ from audi but ever so slightly.

 There is a huge thread on vwvortex but no pictures of the lines..That i can make sense of.

 Been on pro imports site, and they are made up and look nothing like OEM

 I am pretty sure i need TWO oil lines & TWO coolant lines/tubes?

 If anyone has any pictures i will love you long time hehe xx

im in the middle of getting my parts togeather aswell, you need s3/tt or lcr lines, they will be differant to your standard ones.  look at the first picture here, it should help you

Yeah i have seen those pics/threads thanks. Urm i think i have got audi 225 lines, but they look slighty different and also in that pic there is 5! where as i am told there is 4????

this one any good to you, im told by some specilists any of the lines i listed will fit.

i spoke to the guy that did the vortex tread and he said he had a extra line there,  i still need to get my lines and manifold and tip so id be interested to know how you get on

thanks for the picture i have seen that pic before, but i got a feeling they are pro - import lines. Not OEM ones :( But that clears things up on the lines :) Glad there is only four and not five :)

so far, i have,,

brand new 023  cost £300 [bargin, still in the borg warner box]

nearly new bosch green top 440cc injectors, cost £120

manifold and lines cost £140,  if still available

in serious need of wheels so may have to fund them this month.

iv got a agu large port so hoping this should give me 275/280 bhp, atleast 300 ftlb torqe at a guess.

iv also got a full fmic with 2.5 inch pipe work and medium size core, 

are you both just running standard tt gear?

the best bit for us is i think pipeworx can sort the downpipe and chipped uk bromsgrove can do the mapping.

will be getting a ebay tip hopefully, as the one i have has done well

Yeah deffiantly a good idea. If one of us finds parts which we have but others need maybe we could a tip on where to find them or where they are listed.....

 As for power in theory 260 bhp is going to be the max im told. Ive spoken to serval AUDI tuners, and they have all said 280 is very very hard to achieve.

I am hoping for a genuine 250-260 bhp.

I have so far. The exhaust manifold,k04 turbo, 225 injectors,inlet pipe (metal one) oil lines/water lines. And a few hoses

I am hoping to use the metal inlet pipe and audi 225 manifold.

I'll call it the official KO4 thread with info on evrything required, obv over time this will change but its a start and will help lots of mk4 owners

damo,  sounds like you have a k04 001, where did you get the metal tip as i thought they where all rubber on the k04s, which is why they collapse?

im only saying 280 as a s3 or lcr can hit 280 and il have pretty much the same setup as a s3, exept compression, and il have a fmic, id be happy with 250 at the wheels, if not i may have a jbs manifold and maybe a hybrid at some point once everything is fitted and running.

good idea on letting each other know about the parts,  even if we need the same things maybe we could get a group buy if we find all our parts in one place, i,e one big order from a breakers say..

kkk, nah its of an audi 225 tt its a k04 23x or what ever it is lol. Its not the bolt on turbo, i have gotta get a custom DP made. id love 280-300bhp. What i meant is not the inlet but on the other side. The metal pipe i was refering too is nearly a meter long and bend at 90 degrees.

Here are some pics of the APX Audi TT engine with k04-02x turbo. 4 lines for this one. Oil feed/return and coolant feed/return. The only one you can't see is the oil feed which runs round the side of the head to the top of the turbo.Note, the longer oil return for the quattro system. LCR oil return would be similar in shape to the Golf.

Also on exhaust, DP issues. I have finally found someone that knows what they are talking about and good at prices, i think the name was mentioned on here as well!! Spoke to Ian at Pipewerx, and he will be doing my exhaust!

 Right i went out and had look at my lines, and with the pics you guys supplied, i have the same lines, but i am missing one line. Its an oil line which goes to the sump, i think.

 Audi want £65 + vat. What do you guys think buy that??? Or try and get one 2nd hand??

 Also on the inlet's. I am confused i have seen so many k04 golfs using the standard inlet. So my question is. Can you use a standard 1.8t inlet and fit 225OEM injectors. Or do u need to change the fuel rail??? I know u need a 4 bar fuel pressure regulator.

You will easily get the return line back to the sump from a broken TT, maybe a little more difficult from an LCR. The online breakers yards are good. I'm pretty sure you can use either the longer TT return or the shorter LCR item. Shouldn't make a difference.  Depends on your budget.

The TT injectors will fit the golf inlet no problem as long as you have the later drive by wire engine. Older AGU engines have longer injector bodies and the tt items will not fit unless you cut down the fuel line mounting posts. On your engine you should be okay.

i see what you mean about the metal pipe now, should be ok as you have small port, you can use the tt manifold, but mine is the earlier largeport.

i was reading another tread on here regarding injectors and i thought from that that the injectors are the same???  i got som 440s that where on a auq octavia, dont tell me they wont fit? any ideas what i could do?

and your exhaust, are they doing it off the shelf or have you got to trailer your car to them so they can make it?, thats the only thing putting me off is tralering my car

Unfortunately those injectors will not fit. Only the AGU and AEB large port engines had the longer items. Sorry. However, you can fit them if you chop and redrill the fuel rail mount posts on the inlet. Hassle and easier to fit genesis injectors which are made to fit.

As for the exhaust, don't quote me, but I was under the impression that the leon cupra r downpipe and cats will fit the golf, which would mean no welding at all. Can't remember if  the twin cats can be fitted or not. Worth a search on that one.

I don't run a k04, mine is IHI and I bought a kit off the shelf. There was a company that made a connector pipe that joined the k04 exhaust outlet to a k03 downpipe. It looked like a simple quarter turn with the correct flanges welded at each ends. Wouldn't take much to get one made if you got the flanges and mocked it up under the car. I made my own custom cat pipe out of metal offcuts given to me from a local pipe company and had a local guy weld it for £40. Bargain. 

Well i wont name names, but i have been quoted £650 inc vat and to my door..

Thats for an off the shelf 3inch down pipe,high flow cat and then to 2.5 inch pipe, it is for an LCR tho. But they do fit the golf's i am told.

Don't even think about buying adapters from the USA. I emailed 42 drafts design as they do like a modular exhaust BUT it doesn't fit perfectly. Thats converts from k04 to a stock k03 cat. Problem is they make for left hand drive cars. So there are difference's and knocks underneath

I will be getting Pipewerx to make mine, they said it will be around £800-£1000 for a full custom exhaust high flow cat,SIDE exit exhaust and de cat pipe. And The price includes a cat for mot time ;) But thats not an off the shelf jobby!

I have managed to get a new 3" MAF housing for £30 And the oil pipe i needed for £20

And then they came out with a spare 18 BBS CH wheel, which i really want because if i destroy one of my BBS wheels, i will be in the shoot! £120

great, looks like iv wasted my money on the 440s then, i may try and do the inlet though,  unless someone wants to swap some genisis for some bosch.

sounds like you got a touch on them parts, can i ask where you got them from, was it a breakers?, iv emailed 3 breakers so far and no one has replyed,lol

i was thinking of going ihi or t3 but the manifold was putting me off, a decant one was too much money, this way i can do it bit by bit, and save some cash.
