seen a passat highline on a 2004 for sale, the guy says that its the 130bhp range but on the back on the badge only the 'i' is red, shouldnt both the 'd' n 'i' be red for 130 bhp? how can i tell its the 130bhp range?
thanks
The badges don't really count for shoot.
The only way to tell would be to find the engine code of the Passat from the log book \ data sticker and match that to the output - 96KW ~ 130BHP
But with a 2004 model it should be 130
Neil
I think red "I" passats are 100pd's.Best check the engine code or power output.Under the boot carpet as per norm :) - if that fails then the engine code is usually on the timing belt cover (at the front on a passat due to the engine being mounted the proper way)Chris.
guys got this replay :
Variant: STAWXX01 Engine No.: AWX 459705.
so is it 130bhp???
Yes AWX is one of the passat pd130 engine codes.Think AWX engines are hooked up to a 5cog box though.Chris.
Perhaps Red DI is for 130 sports, my dad has a 2001 pd130 sport and that has red "DI".Chris.
golf_gt_tdi: guys got this replay : Variant: STAWXX01 Engine No.: AWX 459705. so is it 130bhp???
