Ok folks,

You've all been asking for this one for a loooong time

David has succesfully added a 'proper' quick reply to forum posts, it can be found at the bottom of a post and works the same way that the normal post editor does.

If you find any problems with the quick reply please let us know via this thread.

so much better! was the slowest part of the forum I found, especially difficult on slower computers than my own, would often not load.

Yea it certainly speeds up posting. As someone said, the RTE was the slowest part of the forum.

Just need to get into the habit of using the quick reply now, still press 'Reply' sometimes out of habit lol.

You'll soon get used to it, really makes a huge difference to posting!

 This is a great idea and seems to work really well. It makes posting replies much faster and easier to follow/read back over the post whilst replying.

COOL bit of kit

Just one thing when you use the normal reply button and use a smiley the cursor  does not return at the end of it and you have to click on the screen for it to come back.

Any clues or is this normal?
