Hi im looking at getting new tyres for my tt comps which i newly aquired. they currently have 235/45/17 proxys which is possibly a little bit too wide but to my thinking it protects the wheels a bit better so am thinking i might stick with that size?

speaking to people i have been recommended many types, i dont want to go for proxys again. So think possibly about falken FK452 as they seem to be rated very well. Anybody got these? if not possibly hankook tyres which iv had before and found to be good. By other thoughts were f1 eagles or bridgestones? im trying to budget about £100 per tyre max but any less is ideal. Thoughts or opinions greatly appreciated.

    thanks in advance,

    james

Eagle F1's, mate.  Medium wear rate (still better than the Toyo's), but outstanding grip in both the wet & the dry (much better than the Proxes, IMO).

My Eagle F1s (225/45/17) were only about £75 each from mytyres.co.uk

All my balancing weights are on the inside.
