     Hi guys.

First off do you guys do an uprated head gasket at all for the 1.8T AGU's? If so could you give me a price please?

Also I could do with a price on the uprated rubbers for the dog bone mount, and price for the engine mount above the gear box (complete mount).

    Thanks

    Andy

    Hi there Andy,

As far as me and my colleagues are aware, Nobody actually produces an uprated head gasket for the 1.8T 20v Engines. I've had a look into what our APR Stage 3 cars use, and they all seem to use the Genuine VW head gaskets without any troubles at all.

As for the dog bone mount rubbers, we sell them for £21 + carriage + VAT

and the engine mount above the gearbox, we do a Vibra Technics replacement, which costs £149.95 + carriage + VAT

Feel free to give us a buzz if you've got any more questions.

    Cheers, Al.

cheers for that Al, I'll be ordering the engine mounts some time towards the end of this month all being well.

Another quick question, what head gasket did you use on the TT that you guys did the 1.9T conversion on?

    Thanks

    Andy

    Andy,

Due to low compression pistons being used (meaning the piston wouldn't reach up high enough around the edges to foul the gasket) and the bore increase being only slight, the standard genuine VAG head gasket was used without any problems.

    Cheers, Al.

Cheers for that Al, that's the route I'm going down with mine (well actually 1.85 not 1.9) so just needed to check with someone who's been there, done that.

Nothing too drastic, only looking to get just over the 300bhp mark when all's finished (this includes a new turbo, not sure which one yet though).
