Alright folks

Just got back from a 4 week trip away working and went out to drive the car for a bit which had been sitting in my parents garge when i was away, my dad started it up a few times but not much. But anyways, here are the symptoms, pottering around at up to 40 mph, the car will sit at 90 and all is good apart from a funny noise under the bonnet. The only way i can describe this is like a loose belt noise or skweaky wheel noise but its not all the time and sounds a bit metalic, it happens intermitantly, but it only happens while driving and not when stationary with the engine runing. There is no loss of power or anything either, but the car will overheat at speeds above 50mph. So, anyone have any thoughts?? Water pump??
