is it possible to just buy a back box with the gt/gti twin tailpipe to fit a 1.6 fsi sport? obviosly i will need the valance so if anyone knows where to get either of them i would be gratful cheers.

hi mate i got a back box on ebay at the minute i think the valence costs about £50 and the back box about £170 at vw

 I suspect you'll need some sort of adapter as the exhaust off a gti will have a larger diameter than one from a 1.6 fsi car.

will a standard gti exhaust system fit a 1.6 fsi?

Has bacillus said,  the diameter of the 1.6 is smaller but it will fit with an adapter.  get a local exhaust place to fit it for you and jobs a good un.
