Wow thats alot of work you've put into your motor - did you fit a new cage for the R32 trim?

the wheels and the rieger bodykit set it apart from the crowd but those subtle changes to the interior/exterior really help to complete your look....

so million dollar question time, What else have you got planned for him?

Got more lows, need arches rolled

Had em ages now n still not done it, the more I put it off the more tempted I am to just sell em.

i really like that body kit and the wheels, they are so different to the rest of the "R32 or Anni" kits on the other 50% of the MkIV's on this site, but still look cool, and not max power.

btw you have blurred out your plate on every pic but the last oneTongue Tied

Are you getting R32 steering wheel best £172 iv spent

Eventually I will get an R32 steering wheel but I need a few vital (not cosmetic bits) beforehand.

I gave the R32 cage to Harveysduvet for helping me do all these bits to my car, so we simply used the original one (used Bazmcc's guide) and didn't break any clips.

The wheels are being sold as from June (badly scuffed plus damage from part that flew off lorry), so I pick up my Oz Superleggeras on 30th May but not getting them fitted until I've got 2 x tyres.

I've got a few other bits planned but mainly cosmetic and then towards the middle of next year turbo or supercharger.

I'm gonna do my best to keep the thread updated as and when I do something new to it but my problem is remembering to take pics of the standard/original stuff before I put the new bits in - I get excited and forget Chuckle

Thanks for that, I've had mainly negative comments about the bodykit but like I say to everyone it was on the car when I bought it plus it doesn't blend in with all the other Anni and R32 lookalikes.

I hadn't blurred the other pics out, the various people that took them had already done that and I forgot to blur out the last one myself - thanks for pointing out Yes, I'll change tomorrow when I'm sober otherwise I'll end up blurring half the bumper out Embarrassed

Oh wow - defo give me a shout if you've got any spare! Party!!!

As for the Lupo, defo send those pics over and details on history, mileage etc and I'll have a chat with my brother - I've told him to go for a Lupo, Polo or an Arosa as it's his 2nd year of driving and he put a few bumps and scratches on his current car but he's pretty sure he wants a black 3dr Golf 1.4.  I'll work out the maintenance costs, insurance, tax, fuel costs for him and maybe when I show him how much he'd be saving he may change his mind.

Thanks for all your help Andy Yes

    TomSmile

Still awaiting figures from Jayson on the ST3 but can't afford to pay for it til 1st July (pay day) anyway.

    Wheels.....well Sad

Went to collect my wheels that were in "good condition for age" on Friday and when I got there all 4 were scuffed/kerbed the full rim Surprise plus his Dad had moved them in the garage and scratched the front on 2 of them Angry  So made it clear I wasn't happy after driving an hour from Mum's to his, why on earth didn't he call to tell me his Dad had accidentally damaged them and how on earth is 4 completely scuffed wheels "good condition for age" Angry

Told him I wasn't interested, he then dropped the price from what I'd won them for and I still declined - I offered him half the money as I would need to get them refurbed....he took it Smile  So they got dropped straight off at Pristine Wheels and will be ready to collect this weekend, so just need to find the money to pay them now as it was £120 more than I had estimated Indifferent

By hook or by crook I will find some money or rob an old lady down my street (joking btw!) and I'll have those wheels on by GTI International Yes

I wasn't planning on refurbing them originally as discussions via email/text convinced me they were near perfect but these wheels are pretty hard to come by especially still being round and repairable, so I'm pretty pleased with them but could have done without the hassle or I could have simply refurbished my current wheels for £200+ instead of buying another set and paying out for the refurb.

I did well to get them half price as his original offer was £140 off what I'd won them for but me being me wouldn't budge Huh?

    Haley,

do you have a part number for that engine cover please?

i have a different on and after fitting a special anti blow back valve my one does not fit any more.

I "THINK" this style one will do the trick as it does not cover the air box like my one does

    Thanks

You know Moses? Surprise  Did you meet him with his previous owner (Bernie) down in Mitcham?

I love the wheels that are on him but Bernie's missus kerbed them all and something fell off a lorry damaging the front wheel Sad

Got my OZ leggies going on in the next week but if I don't like the look of them on the car I'll flog them and have the current ones refurbed and put back on.....it's a womans prerogative to change her mind Embarrassed

Plans for next year are probably turbo/supercharger Party!!!

Ya I helped sell the car to Bernie.. The car was bought out of Woodstockmotor company & I sold my old alloys to my mate so he could put them on Moses to make him more attractive.. Then Bernie bought the body kit & woodstock had that painted & fitted for him....

Oh wow - well he claims his missus trashed the alloys as they are scuffed badly on all 4 hence I got new ones and I did wonder who painted and fitted the kit as it's bubbling and not well fitted, so Jake Walsh is sorting for me soon.

When I sold the alloys they were scuffed up in a few places to be fair... The body kit was not the best fit as its none OEM & bought from ebay. There were poblems in trying to get it fitted correctly.... I'll try & find a pic of my old car with the old alloys on.

The wheels are coming off this weekend and I'll PM you some close up pics of them - I can assure you that these are a lot more trashed than when you sold them Indifferent

I'm not sure whether to sell as are stating how badly scuffed they are or refurb then sell or sell to a scrappy Confused

    Awesome GTI RR Day Results...

19th April:  bald tyres, shot bushes & rack arm

7th June:  new tyres, new bushes & rack arm

BHP is no better (obviously) but you can see the graph has smoothed out and for some odd reason my clutch torque has increased Confused

the graph looks a lot smoother hayley! couldn't say why though?

were the conditions different to last time (air temp/pressure and that?)

acceleration, its the future! OEM + a few bits.
