Just spoke to Adrian Flux, my current policy doesn't support this sort of modding.

The quote they got me was over £800 for a different policy. My last policy cost about £460.

So its a no go for the time being....i think i'll have to re-visit when my insurance is next due in November.

Bit gutted, but i cant justify spending all that on the insurance.

How undetectable is it if i didnt tell the insurance....ssshhhhhBig Smile

I wouldnt risk not telling them but on a lighter note, I have worked closely with Adrian Flux and managed to get EVERY policy at either no cost or a £25 admin fee.

If you would like me to speak with them on your behalf we can do.

They know our company well and last year we did some work with Tesco Insurance which has managed to give us a great step in offering maps to people who have before been penalised by there insurance company.

Yeh, just joking, i wouldn't risk not telling them.

If you think that it would be possible to have a word with them and see how the land lies with regards getting the ST-3 i would be grateful.

The underwriters for my insurance are NIG, Adrian Flux told me they didnt support mods such as a remap.

At the end of the day.....i shouldn't have too many problems if you have worked with them before and managed to get policies sorted out no problem.

I'm 30, 10 years no claims, no convictions, 13 years with a full licence and a professional job.....what else can i do????

But my oldham postcode doesn't help......however this shouldn't affect a remap.

Anyway....let me know what you need off me if you want to speak to them

    Thanks

    Dave

I enquired that I was looking to ge a remap as In this climate I was aiming to improve the economy of my A3 2.0 TDI.

My Insurer Liverpool Victoria replied with the good news that there would be no premium increase!  I was surprised
