Brought two of the UK-MKIVS stickers the other day one external one internal, recived them nice and quickly very happy, however payed the extra for recorded delivery. and the postman has just put it through the letter box.♠ surely he is a dum ass cause no one has signed for it so surely i could just claim from the post office and say it never got delivered?

In theory you could claim it wasn't delivered but the fact you've stated it's been received on a public forum won't probably help your case.

I'd contact the RM and complain, your postie obviously isn't playing by the rules.

Don't complain, as the postie probably signed it himslef as he deemed it to be a low value item, mine does that on occasions, the alternative if he played by the rules would have ment you going to the post office to collect them. i would congratulate the postie for using his initiative.

Is that standard practice for the RM though? The whole point of signed for Recorded delivery is so that the intended party can verify they've received the goods.

In principal it defeats the object of paying for the service IMO.

Yer im not trying to con RM out of money or anything! but i thought the point of recorded delivery was that it was recorded. and i was sat in my house anyway, not like he tried ringing the door bell or anything!

 I've just ordered some I hope they reach me in time for inters. I selected recorded delivery too so i'm hoping they get here quick sharp!

 ive had my sticker since march and ive still not got round to putting it on!i might save it for my next golf lol!
