Hello I know this is not in the correct section of forum so we will see if i get a reply.

I own a mkv gti here in spain.I have a nuespeen fullintake with carbon engine cover and forge bov.

What I really want is the twintercooler as i am in the hot climate, could any one tell me there thoughts are on this, what the gains are with graph if possible.Finaly what chip do you all rate for the 2.0tfsi but i do want a hand held unit(ie bluefin, dreamscience ect) as i have had bad experience from chiping a mkv the old way.

    As much info the better,

    thanks, Elliott.

Wrong section. This section is for help with the forum itself. I'll move it to the performance and technical sections

I've got a Bora, not a Golf, and it diesel not petrol. It also has yet ANOTHER bloody dent in it. But this one is in the side, not the front ;-)

if you have a manual transmission then I would consider the APR IC before the forge one even though it's more expensive. for a dsg car you may be limited to the forge twintercooler.

if you look on the forge and apr sites you will see graphs for both.

I have the forge on my 2005 GTI along with the Bluefin and they are both excellent, it was noticeable before on hot days (not many!!) that i seemed to lack a bit of power compared to cold damp days so i went for the Twintercooler.  The car is better all the time, it is not like when you first have it chipped but there is a subtle difference right across the rev range.  It is more consistent i suppose.  I am very happy with it and if  i ever want to go the bigger turbo route for more performance then i am set.

    Hope that helps.

Service wise i usually go to my local dealer as i have a good relationship with them, they have never mentioned it but when i ordred it it asked for a satin black one so it is virtually invisible behind the lower grill, i like subtle but effective.

We offer a 10 % discount to all Forum members , the twintercooler is tried and tested and proven , not just a universal part , please e mail info@forgemotorsport.co.uk if you need info
