am after one of these cables,but it seems the only place i can find to get one is the good old U.S.A... does any body know where i can purchase one from in the uk

I looked for ages for one mate, and the only place i could find one was USA too, wasnt cheap either.

 know what you mean about not being cheap ..i ordered one from the usa cost £19

I got mine from Cablejive in the states, I like it because you passenger can hold the ipod and change tracks without having to plug it back in all the time.

Also solves the problem of lack of adapter for the new Nano etc.

Cablejive was the company i looked at, how much are they delivered?

Same as maxitrol about £19 though delivery was quick and I think it's worth it for the convenience. Dunno how much VW would charge for a set of adapters for all past and future ipods? A lot more I should think!

No, they dont even make a longer lead, only apple know why such a short cable is acceptable.

Can this cable plug into the back of a normal rcd 300?

Its just a dock cable extension.
