tried to polish a bit today, looks like its a case of the clear not holding up and allowing the uv to destroy the base colour :(

so i have a slightly faded yellow but the spoiler and petrol flap are bright yellow so im guna get the car to the best standard i can then match the colour with our camera, then paint those to bits,

id rather have slightly faded oe paint than have to spray the whole car. thats one thing i always tell customers, if you can keep it oe then do- even if i does loose us work haha

well cleaned the engine bay at dinner, and have just had chance to get it on the ramp, and do an oil change, while it was in i though i would check the state of the air con- it had 435 grams of gas in and should have 755 so when its finished recharging and vacuuming i should really feel the differnce.

i decided to refurb the wheels as they were manky, so changed the colour too

also noticed how dirty it was under the arches, and seen as it was on the wheel free i cleaned them

    before

    after

once the wheels were back on, i gave the car a full buff, first with compound, then with glaze followed by a good old wizard wax, did the windows with a freclair treatment and bobs your uncle, baring the faded paint the clear has really come up to a good gloss
