Is it possible to change the default setting for external links from "Open link in the same window" to "Open link in a new window"?

Every bloody link that apears seems to be set to take people away from the site instead of opening in a new window. Maybe it's because people are using normal bb code or something, but using the forum method of a pop up window defaults to the problem outlined above.

Images - 1 image only, 400 X 125 pixel limit and file size not exceeding 75kb (click for example)
Text - No more than three lines of text of any font size. For text of font size 12 and above there is a one-line limit.

I've been meaning to suggest this for a very long time now, it annoys me as well, why would I wanna be taken away from this site??? Wink

A new window would be very useful every time.

I agree. You know where you are with a new window, you can just close it when you've had enough, safe in the knowledge you're back where you started :)

I find this annoying as well, I just usually try and remember to right click > open in new window.

I'd like the default to be new tab too.

If you click with the wheel it automatically opens in a new tab/browser.

    Anyone want an Air Freshener?
