Ok due to the fantastic response in this thread I think we are definetley going forward with this...

The proposed date is: Sunday 17th August

Proposed location: B+Q Reading, near J11 M4.. then off to house of fraser by the oracle for krispy kreme donuts and then to tescos on portman road for some pictures...

Proposed time: 5.00pm

Sounds good to me - its been soooo long since the last Berkshire meet & would be good to meet some other peeps in the local area, especially as I wasn't around for Stonor park or Inters

My flight back from Ye Olde Tenerife lands at 6am on that sat morning but its only 1min from my house so im up for comming along.

Ent seen some of you guys for quite some time now. If we get a good turn out we could make it a bit more regular.

Im lending my golf to my mate while im on holiday cos he's getting the MOT done for me. Im gonna be worrying about it for the whole 2 weeks im away! I wanted to take it with me but the girlfriend gave me THAT look! lol

lol he used it for a week when i was in Amsterdam last year and he gave it back to me fully valeted so cant complain, nice to be able to trust someone these days.

What sort of time are we looking at meeting up then? B&Q going to be the location? The New Tesco on Oxford rd in Reading has a massive carpark thats always mostly empty, cheeper petrol/deisel and food there too. Just a suggestion.

Ok I'll update the first post and we can all have a vote on when and where we are meeting..

 16th is better for me as it's the "missuses" birthday on the 15th - no way i'd be allowed out to play that day!

As for location, i'll just go with the flow

 only trouble is no matter where you have it in reading you will always get chav's turning up. They tried no-rice at calcot and the police turned up half way into it cause of some dick's in under powered bag's of sh*t racing up and down the back of the carpark. we need to find somewhere remote that no one know's of and only the best can find.

my works car park is off london street in the centre of Reading well out the way, it private to my company too. It would fit around 20 cars.

I could ask my boss if we could use it either the sat or sun?

There are 2 pubs 100yrds either side of it though.

I'll ask and see what he says even if we dont use it this time, could be useful in the future.
