     hi im new to here ive got a black 199 mk 4 golf 1.6 sr,

    i would like to have my mates 18" rimes on there, ive looked and looked but i cant find  in the fourms what the right size tire is for a 18. i know i should keep on lookin but its 4,27 n im tired.

     just to let u know the wheels are  

    Size: 18 inch in Diameter × 8.0 inch in Width

    Fitment: 5 Holes with P.C.D ( Pitch Circle Diameter) 100mm

    Offset: 35mm

    Centre Bore: 72.6mm

    the alloys are deep dish

    Fancy a set of those myself but unsure about matt black rims on a black car.  Fancy posting some pics when you get them fitted?

     ill def add the pics for you mate.. if they dnt look right ,ill just put a coat of laquer over them to gloss them up abit.... only thing thats got me is.. with the lip on them sticking past the bolts,wont the rims stick out past the arches if you get my drift.

     hi mate & welcome    them rims will be alright ive got a similiar set on mine but in silver the only problem i had was they caught on the front brake caliper very slightly so i bought some spacers to overcome this

    hi  i got them from a shop on ebay for £600

    ive also stuck some vw badges on the centres (not shown in pic) they where off ebay as well.............

    Most people go with 5mm front 15mm rear which give a nice look, Get some pics once the wheels are on your car mate as i quite like the look of them Smile

     i had them on my reflex golf for a week or so, with out tyres and in person they look really nice, on the car the dish seems to be alot smaller and all in all not that great :S? i think when i bought them i assumed for some stupid reason they might come out the arches at the time ? i prefured my rs4 reps i had what do you guys think ?

     also when the replica wheels where on my car i only had lowering springs fitted where as when i got the black and red inovit wheels i had bought coilovers hence why the front look lower with the inovits fitted :)

    Ye i dont think they suit the silver golf now ive seen them. Maybe black golfs tho Smile
