     Hi guys,

    Can anyone recommend Celtic Tuning?

They have offered me an ECU upgrade for my 1.9 PD TDI Golf (100). They say they can get between 140-150 bhp out of it and 2-3mpg more! They look like a good outfit on the web.

    Anyone tried them?

Also my Golf has done 125,000 miles - will this make a difference to the re-map - will it increase engine wear? - is it worth it basically? Car drives great at the mo.

    Cheers

(this maybe a bit late, but) Yep, I have a Celtic map on my Bora.

All their maps are custom, in that they take a read of your ECU and modify that file rather than just load a generic map on, so it's completely tailored to your car.

Have a look through the testimonials on their website.. I've tried a few 'other' tuning brands, and Celtic are the best by far - purely because they can map your car to exactly how you want it, and their customer service is spot on.

They also now have a Bristol branch, www.celtictuningbristol.co.uk

As for wear, my Bora's done 103k - it's perfectly fine.

Bora ST 1.8T - remap, Forge 007p d/v, TT Comps, H&R coilovers, Recaro interior, Aero wipers, much more to come!
