Does anyone know of a good quality valeting company in the NW (South Cumbria, Lancashire, Manchester, even Leeds?) either stationary or mobile that does a full top to bottom, interior & exterior valet.  I'm talking interior shampooing of carpets, seats & headlining and claying and polishing the exterior to a high standard.

A mobile one would be good as then they could do it while I work but I'd be happy to leave it all day somewhere like Manchester or Leeds as I'm there quite a bit.

Also if anyone does have any suggestions then what sort of price would I be looking at?

    Cheers Big Smile

I've seen a car that he has done both before and after and I could highly recommend him, he wasn't happy with it the first time so he did it again at his own expense -  Even though it looked great to me the first time.

     Hi jake

I'm thinking of buying a Vagen mk5 Gti front bumper for my car and was hoping you could give a price for painting that, fitting gti skirts (i'll supply all bits) and doing a full machine polish on the exterior.

I'm not sure but i think some of the panels have been repainted as when you look very close the paint has thousands of circles? I took a couple of pics of the bonnet which doesn't pick them up clearly but as you can see this is what it look like after a glaze/ polish/ wax (not very shiney)

i'm in Huddersfield but can't get to Rochdale until early evening or weekends

    Cheers

     yeah thats been painted,

what they have done is to flat the surface with say 1500 discs on a da, then machine polished it back up you can see some bits they havent taken out circled in red, the blue box is where its dyed down,

tbh it shows that they at least care about the finish of there work as its not been left in gun finish. prob is when you paint the car the paint gets oven baked but it takes upto 6 weeks to full cure in which time the solvents are still evporating, this in turn dulls the finish back down, it happens to some of ours sometimes.

    as for a price,

paint the bumper £85.00 skirts £100

    fitting skirts £52.00

bumper £52.00 depending on the fitment etc

Cheers Jake - so will the paint come up "proper" with a machine polish or does it need a respray?
