Hi all I've been researching on here for similar threads but need a specific answer about the following...

I'm looking to upgrade my lights to these which are from Powerbulb:

-Osram Night Breaker H7 (Dipped lights) http://www.powerbulbs.com/product_detail.asp?prod=112

-Philips Blue Vision W5W (Sidelights) http://www.powerbulbs.com/product_detail.asp?prod=31

Can anyone advise me on getting the above combination? I'm after good safe lights, decent range and whiter looking.

Will they last long and are they legal?

Also I'm hopeless at car DIY, how easy are they to fit for a novice? Will I have to go to a garage to get them installed?

I used philips Blue vision, and I love them!! Although they are a bugger to fit, I found!

Cant comment on the Osram, as I used Philips Xtreme, of which I cant fault them I honestly cant, nice whiteness too! As for the fitting of the Xtreme, they were easy... 

If you got a garage to do it they'd prolly only charge a few quid.

But, all in all, nice choice

 Cheers Bud, I guess the Osrams and Phillips are pretty similar right? Or is one clearly better than the other?

I honestly cant say which is better, I know alot of people on here use the Osram ones tho.

The only reason I mainly went for the Philips is the fact that I got discount, AND the Philips Blue Vision came free too
