is there a choice of the quality of the paints or laquers used at extra cost?

sorry Jake, this is an area of expertese i'm not too clued up about but have spoken to a few bodyshops and they say they use top quality BMW laquer as it offers better properties like uv protection, better scratch resistance etc or is this just the usuall lure!

How much would it be to sort this out? I am thinking that the front part of the cill will need replacing, but there is no other damage.

Hiya there,I have s few stone chips caused by some silly kid's but these are on one of the rear door's,you can't even see them but I know they are they are there,i'm not bothered about the cost as I want a good job doing but the main problem is that my car's a 2005 BMW 530d M-Sport and going by the price of the laquer's you might not be able to do it!Is the paint hard to blend/brush in? Big Smile

     no paint is fine lol,

it really depends where the chips are if there central then the panel cam be done, if there off to one side then they usually require blending into adjacent panels
