    Hi all,

I thought i would start up a new build up thread as the other one was getting a bit lost.

    Heres the old thread: http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/202723.aspx

I bought the car in September 2007 as a standard 2002 Golf 25th Anniversary GT TDI PD150 (number 0304).

    Currently on 59,400 miles.

I was going to keep the car standard untill i found this forum.

Since i have had the Anni i have done the following:

Full miltek stainless steel exhaust from the turbo back with discrete tailpipes

    Green cotton panel air filter

Silver aluminium twist off VW tax disc holder

    Private registration plates

Brand new VW Golf 25th Anni floor mats

    Drivers side door delocked

    Debadged

Coulour coded VW sharan rear badge

    Front and rear aero wipers

JVC KW AVX-810 CD/DVD player with JVC KS BTA-200 bluetooth adaptor

GTI stainless steel deadpedal footrest with red GTI emblum

Alarm beep and autolock enabled (big thanks to Andy aka Dent Reform)

Homemade red GTI US spec front grille badge

    UKMKIVS sticker on rear windscreen

When i had the miltek exhaust fitted at AMD at Essex i had it on the rolling road after the exhaust and also with the green cotton panel airfilter. It came out at 158.2bhp and 259.4 lb/ft torque.

Mods which will come when funds are available:

Remap - Possibly either REVO or the Chipped UK ST3

    Uprated clutch

    Uprated brakes

    Lowered

MTE, autowindows and lit needles to be enabled

Bora illuminated air vents  - Done

Metal pressed number plates - Done

Heres some pics of the car at the moment:

Really need to find a good location to take some better pics as these are the only ones i have now.

Cheers mate. I got the Enfig aerial from the group buy on here. The stereo was a straight fit just needed the aerial amplifier and ISO connector for it to work properly. I had the stereo off Car Audio Security for £360 and i had the bluetooth adaptor seperate off ebay for about £80. The bluetooth was well worth the money as i use it alot. I would also definately recommend the JVC KW AVX810 headunit to anyone whos after a double din.

Your car is in great shape, Tom.  I can vouch for that having seen it in the flesh at the Penarth meet.  Yes  Anni's look amazing when the mods are subtle.  What have you instore for it in future?

    Steve.

    Cheers Wigster.

Well i need to save some money first and i wouldnt mind paying off my car loan before i do anything else but definately want a remap then the uprated clutch.

It was very dirty at the meet and its been too cold to clean her lately. Hopefully the weather might get a bit better and i can clean her before another meet.

Had the Anni serviced today £156 and found out the rear passenger side suspension spring is broken and as it is, its an MOT failure. The springs need to be replaced in pairs which will cost £174 in total.

So thats a big bill of £330 in the first month of the year. There goes my plans for a remap.

Get some coilovers instead then Tom rather than replacing the spring. Might even work out cheaper...

    Cheers stevey.

Had the rear suspension springs changed today as others were picked up in the service as being corroded. As soon as i got in the car i knew it was better as it felt solid.

Driving it home was a different experience as before the back end was ver bouncy but now it is solid and feels alot better. Im glad its sorted now.

Looking spot on as allways Tom, such a clean example.

If you do go for the R32 front make sure you dont sell your anni bumper.
