here's a few pics of the oil burner taken by my good friend Ricky (grande_gti) in London.  The Golf is wearing it's winter  boots.  There's plenty planned for the old oil burner over the coming months.

What do you guy's think ? Do you like the OEM look, previous pics how the golf looked can be found at

    19/03/2009 TT wishbones/hubs upgrade

I've been meaning to do this for along time.  After helping BoraChris to do this upgrade on his Bora and then having a drive of the Bora.  I wanted to do this upgrade asap. Cornering is so flat and controlled.

I've already had a Cupra R quick rack fitted  before.  The only parts I needed

    Audi TT front coilovers

    Audi TT wishbones

Audi TT hubs, was lucky with these.  I  managed to get them from a front wheel drive model.

    R32 anti roll ball

General wear and tear items, like new tie rod ends,  ball joints, new subframe bolts etc.

I'll let the pictures do the talking.  Big thank you to BoraChris for helping me do this swap.

Thank you  for the kind words.

I haven't had a chance to do anything on my own Golf. I've been collecting parts to improve the handling and might be selling the coilovers and going back to good old springs and damper set up.

Brakes they're set in my garage gathering dust, having a little redesign done to the carriers to make them lighter and waiting for some custom goodridge brake lines made up.

When I fit them I'll do a write up.
