v3.65:
Features new protocol BMW EDC17
After detailed studies and tests have been developed the new communication protocol for Units BOSCH EDC17, who fitted the new BMW models. The quality and reliability of Powergate allow time for reading and writing optimized. The checksum as standard now, is automatic and extremely easy to use. To operate or not is open the unit or taking any type of welding. Powergate with just a simple connection to the OBDII diagnosis.
v3.55
Version 3.55 of PWGpro has been released. It presents an improvement upon characteristics already introduced by earlier versions, and also adds the much awaited BMW EDC 16 to the list of supported vehicles. Specifically, the updates include:

The new version software can automatically check for available updates with a working internet connection, and will display a prompt for automatic update download and installation. In this manner, the latest software version is assured, without having the user update manually, as earlier versions required.
Characteristics of the new protocol BMW EDC 16
The new communication protocol of BMW group vehicles with BOSCH EDC 16 ECUs upholds what has always been guaranteed by Powergate: reliability, communication speed, and autonomy. The protocol manages both the communication with the vehicle and checksum, without needing to connect to internet to write the file. The optimizing work done by our staff and the hardware characteristics of Powergate allow for a start reading time of 3/4 minutes and for a writing time of 3/5 minutes
v3.40
Protocols optimization
Starting by the new version some old protocols were improved to increase the stability in communication between POWERGATE and ECUs. The improved protocols are the following:

v3.30
Starting by friday the 21th November is available to download the 3.30 version of PWGpro, the managing software for POWERGATE, that adds the following news to our personal ODB programmer:
VAG Counter managing
On BOSCH engine control units EDC 16CP34, 16U, 16U31 and 16U34 equipped on VAG Vehicles (Volkswagen/Audi Group) is embedded an electronic counter that keeps the number of reprogramming made on the ECU. Starting by the new version will be possible to manage this counter, in two differents ways:
* Reset, with which you can clear the VAG counter.
* Stealth, with which is possible to restore the VAG counter the previous value, in this way the last reprogramming will be invisible.
Warning!!!
POWERGATE users enabled to reprogramming VAG vehicles that uses the communication protocol #107 should reset their tool and configurate with the protocol #128 to use the new VAG Counter feature
Simon @ CHIPPEDUK is it ok for me to host the updated file for users to download?
