 na, got no reply someone on ebay offered me £200 fotr the engine box and loom so i took it. just the ecu, shafts and hubs to go now plus all the other 1.8t bits about.

shame i could have fitted the 2.0 to the 1.4 cheap too as it was my old engine, never mind hopefully he can get hold of something else cheap.

 the bloke who is buying it only wants it for the gearbox and flywheel, he said he'll sell the engine on. maybe you could buy them off him, what sensors was it you were after?

What's the luminous green line in some of the pics - vac line for the boost gauge?

How are you going to sort the mapping? Are you going to use the ECU from the Audi, or a custom map?

 hi dave, the green is a plastic vac line for the dv, i ran out of black! the boost gauge is hooked up but i hid the vac line for that.

ECU is getting custom map, it should have been back today but looks like monday now. i'll be able to start it up then, it's 99% there. i'll probably run it for a while then get a live map.

Cheers mate, need to hook up a vac line on mine for the boost gauge - got a good idea of how to run it throught the bulkhead.

Would you mind PM'ing me who is doing the work on your ECU for the K04 map? I've got all the bits needed to bolt on my K04 to my AGU block now - I was worried about the injectors, but have sorted that. Just need someone who can sort a custom map now. Look forward to the final bits of your write-up - especially how it performs!

 vac line running in between rubber grommets for loom through firewall

pipe runs through rubber blank for loom, under this plastic panel is a large hole that runs directly into the car to connects the front loom to the interior loom. you can pass the vac line easily through here. the hole is above the accelerator and to the right.

 got bored today waiting for the ECU, now what seemed like a good idea has now got me thinking i was wrong!

can i get some opinions on the charge pipe.

A) keep checks

B) revert to white

C) go black

all opinions welcomed

Was just about to mention the check headlamos, they look cool as!

As for the charge pipe, keep it like that the check theme works really well with the white.

wish i new someone who could do a engin conv for me i hate the 2.0. had it for 7 months now and its doing my nuts in

 mate is there any downside to removing the secondary air injection pump (16795)? i keep getting a fault code on my 1.8 aum, i have replaced the pipes on sai pump, found two vacuum hoses burst replaced them, replaced the standard egr valve, and the light still keeps coming on! any ideas anyone?

 i'm selling a pump in the classifieds mate and it's on ebay. if you remove it you need two resstors so the ecu still thinks it's there.
