I have to say i really like anni's... But they are silly money. Im not really on either side becasue as said a car is worth what you get for it.

But referring to the quote, that is like saying that if you buy rline front and rear bumpers and side skirts (Which in my opinion look nicer) these are genuine parts therefore adding 1200 quid (ish) to the price of a standard GTI. This does not happen. I dont agree with how much money anni's cost becasuse i think there overpriced for the difference between them and a standard GTI. However, that is what people pay for them so why should you not expect that much.

Hanno, I would guage the amount of interest at that price, then keep gradually lowering it if you have no luck...as already said, a car is worth what somebody is prepared to pay for it, but some offering you advice also believe "NO mk4 golf (R32 excluded) is worth more than £4500". Just a friendly tip...

Put it up for that price IMO - and hopefully you'll get someone who does understand and who will be willing to pay that! If not, drop it a bit.

I was thinking of selling my anni and going for one but i think i am going to keep mine for a little longer and save a bit more money for one

 I sold my derv anni, with 105k miles on 12 months ago for £7.5k. A car's worth what someone wants to pay for it.

the only people who could really comment on the value of a limited edition model would be the small segment of the market who want to buy one. I bought my anni for £8750, with a few bits needing doing! The markets small. You'll take longer to sell it, as the niche for them is small, but you'll get a higher return for one.

Just hold out.

What 32 have you gone for... couple of hundred more than your anni's worth and you could have had mine!

My red anni is similar milage to the one you just sold, and super mint - i'd be interested to know how much it would go for. Not that im thinking of selling though....

LSH, i have just bought a mk4 R32 and i absolutely love it. I loved my anni but the 32 feels on a completely different level. The engine gives you power whenever you need it and just keeps revving. I would recommend one definately!

This is all your fault Hanno...after reading this thread I looked at the prices of the R32, and became very tempted...DAMN YOU!

I have always wanted and R32, but the things that are slightly putting me off are that everyone says how 'nose heavy' and generally heavy they feel and also the tax

But that V6 note....*drools*. I know you have not had the car very long, but would you be let me know the general benefits and drawbacks of it compared to your 1.8T?

I always wanted a mk4 anni. Spent a fortune on mi agu trying to compete and then sold it lol. What you think of the r32? I love the mk4 think its a bit more special than the mkv r32. Never been in one though!

Cheers mate, from what i know and have seen on other Anni's it is the Anni front splitter!

IT's an anni splitter and Defo not a votex splitter - votex one on my 4, check it out.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it, keep it up at that price and see what kindof offers you get in, personally I wouldnt let it go for less than 7500.

 spoke to nick johnson car sales ( seller of lots of anni's apparently ) he said to me only last week petrol anni's worth 1k over book , diesel's are worth more ...

 That red one is clean looking in the ad. If it's as good in person and the right person is looking at it, it'll get damn near what he's looking. Good to have the spare set of wheels aswell.
