     hi

I have a 2006 gt tdi 140 dsg. i have been having problems with the car for a month or so now. so far no limp mode or anything, but a few times now i have had problems where the car wont engage a gear and pull away, it just revs up. (has resulted in me rolling back and hitting a car).  i have also been getting a strange noise and hesitation between 2nd and 3rd gear intermittently. it has been to the dealer's under warranty but they said there is nothing wrong with it but did reprogramme the gearbox. it has done it since going in. can anybody shed any light or had experienced their car doing it?

Definatly get it back to the dealer if its in warranty and just dont take no for an answer. Tell them to fix it, demand a courtesy car and walk out...

It could be the mechatronic(Spelling?) module.

Best bet to look on the Vag com owners list and for a few beer tokens I'm sure someone local to you will scan it for you.Any faults should show up and then you have something to wave at the dealers.

If your near Wiltshire I can do it for you.

Angel, I will be coming over in the next two to three weeks. If I can help with giving your car a scan let me know and I'll bring my kit.
