    Hi all, just been to my local Autoglass after half a boulder ruined my windscreen at the weekend.  The guy said that my windows are blue tint (which I had noticed) but said they are rare...   I though that all GTI's had blue tint windows.

    Any ideas if this was an option at time of purchase, my car was ex demo so didnt have the chance to spec it.

    Hmmm strange...  Mine are blue but I dont know why... lol

     All Gti cars before MY2007 came with blue glass.

    Ask Autoglass to get the glass directly from VW as it is still available...

     Yes, as stated the blue tint is standard!! I had the same problem with them about my mk4, which has a green tint!! Just let them know!

     Cool, new blue screen is now in...  Job done, all I gotta do now is hoover up the mess they made!! lol

    MK5 R32s have that blue glass too!
