     hi guys my tdi 150 has dropped power instantly  whilst on my way home from work today. i was on the motorway m25 from thurrock doing 70mph and all of a sudden it dropped power and the car was not boosting and only speed that i could do was about 50mph and no more! i finaly got to harlow where i live and called out the aa and they said that it was a vacuume feed problem. would you guys know what else it could be? the aa had no vadcom and i have no vadcom either!

     could be a number of things, talk nice to somone with a vagcom to give you a better idea

    yes it is loud, yes it does smoke, yes it is fast and no i dont care because i run out of road before fuel ;-)

    Check your boost pipes for leaks or if they've popped off. Also get it on VAG-Com and post up the log file.

     thanks guys i ment vagcom i wil do that, the pipes was checked by the aa man and he said no vacuum pipe going to the acuator near the egr valve; it could be n75 valve playing up.i try looking at car tommorow for further investigation.

     golf now has all powerback ,it found out to be my air mass meter all along changed it now well happyParty!!!
