    which would you rather have a golf mk4 1.8t

    or an mk1 or mk2 golf with an 20vt in it

     What power would you be getting out of a mk2 or mk1?

    I've seen a few slammed mk2s and they do look the nuts!

     with a 20vt in std trim 150 bhp, remap circa 200, ko4 with custom map 240 +,  bear in mind they weigh around 1000kgs

     The only reason you would go for a mk1/2 is for a track day (that is of course if you really dont care about comfort). It would be a faster/better handling car!

    However if you wanted a car to get you from A to B in comfort then I guess it would be the mk4!

    Last year i sold my old mk4 golf and bought a corrado G60,at first i loved it but after a few months the lack of comfort and old fashined looks got too much.That car had to go and i'm back in a mk4 again.Would i go back to an older car again? NoNegative
