    Im getting a new laptop soon

    I would like windows 7, but im wanting to run Elsawin 3.7 and Etka 7.

    Will they run ok?

    I know VCDS will

    Sorta...depending on drivers for the authentication plug.

    Best bet if it doesn't, is get Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate, then you can run a full free copy of XP as a VM.

    Else, just get virtualbox or vmware, and run xp in that, and use the apps in there.

    Im part of the VCDS GB, so it all above board.

    When you say "VM" is that virtual machine?

    Some laptops come with windows 7 with XP downgrade.

    Is a "VM" a program you run, in order to run a certain software, or like a seperate boot?
