First vid is handy for anybody wanting to remove their dial cluster. Second vid shows what the guy replaced his with...

    Great find Yes

We should do a few films like this, detailing common tasks like trim install and headlight / bumper removal Yes

Yeh it would be a lot better than printed tutorials like I have used in the past for removing my front bumper. Simple to do as well really and a good advert for uk-mkivs if watermarks are added to each vid.

I checked out the link from the video and these guys have developed their own 'how to' dvd for service tasks etc

Awesome find, this will look really good in any golf / bora. Price on the guy's site is a bit steep though IMO.

i think its because its part of how to fit his modified cluster, so it includes bits on which trim to remove to run the new wires.

as far as i am aware, the needles pop off with a little persuasion

Just been reading all your posts and saying they remove too much trim, does anyone know a link to a site with a guide on how to swap the dial clusters from the standard to the bora sports?
