    Hello

Got my autoleads today got a few days of work so thinking about fitting it into my arm rest. Was searching through the posts a few days ago and am pretty happy with how to go about this but the reason for this post is that whilst searching i came across a great ipod installation pic through a link to vwvortex, the ipod sat flush in the arm rest looked very tidy ( hope im not OCD ) have searched the vwvortex site cant find it just wondered if anyone else has done this and knows of some pics. Heres some i found any help greatly appreciated :-

    Cheers Dave

dont really use it much at the moment and plus with no CD's in glove box and everywhere else should have me plenty of spare room . Going to probably do it out of foam then cover so will be able to take out if and when i need to.

Got my autoleads fitted in today so next thing is to get the foam and something to cover it ( thinking black suede ). Thought it would be easy but blew a fuse and then struggled getting all the extra wiring behind the unit, after a few carefully chosen words and a bit of huffing and puffing its all in a working once in il get some pics up.

    Hi mate,

Was pretty easy to hide the lead into the arm rest. Went down under the ash tray, past the gear stick and handbrake, Then took the side housing of the arm rest there is a small hole pulled the cable through this and postioned it around the joint of the arm rest a small indent in the joint allows the lead to go into the centre. I then drilled a whole into the arm rest passed the cable through job done. To make things easier i loosened the centre console just a few screws but did allow me to move the leads through more easily.

there are some good pics on posts i found on here il try and get a link

If you could, that would be great. I quite fancy the idea of an iPod in the armrest. :)

Would anyone be willing to sell theirs?... or perhaps make one if I was to pay for it?
