Well, same old story, I've been on here a good while now and thought it time to chuck a few pictures together and show you where Im up to.

This is the car the day I bought it Stick out tongue aww dont she look sweet

Got her home and give her a bit of a clean for about a week! lol, Stuck my plate on it, give it a set of Eibach Pro Street coilovers, got rid of the badges and put a colorcoded Sharan badge on the back, I think its neatens it up a bit.

After this I swapped the rear lamps for US units, Changed the front wipers for Areo ones, Changed the interior trim for R32 alu stuff and got a Beetle RSi gearknob and gaiter, a Xenon kit, some mats from VW and then got the credit card out and give her a Custom Code remap, it showed a healthy 218.5bhp and 245lbs/ft torque on the rollers too, happy days Big Smile along with a Forge CL007P and a CAI

Like this pic, gotta love that Collinite 476s! Stick out tongue

Getting into this Detailing lark and being brainwashed on DetailingWorld I gave the bay a clean too.

Months and Months I searched high and low for some wheels and couldnt find any! numerous emails to americans to find something diferent to no avail. When my mate offered to sell me his wheels I snatched his hand off, Black with Black wheels was my original thoughts, even before I'd got the car. They are RH ZW4's 2 piece split rims, 8x18" front and 9x18" rear, powder coated in satin black with gold bolts added. H&R 30mm adapters also. I also added some rare In Pro black non-halo projector headlamps and wound the coilies down.

More recently I have now added stubbie mirrors from Germany, electric, heated and blue lenses, lovely stuff. Oh and I liked these E-code headlamps better than the others, I have also had the windows tinted, they are 50percent all round, not obvious at first but just subtle enough for me.

And finaly: how she looks on the move (courtesy of Golf-Chick)

The car is far from finished, I have a few more ideas for it, and will update this post when I do them.

    cheers for looking

    joN

The rubber is Falken FK451's 215/40/18 all round,

with the rears being a little wider than the fronts, gives a nice stretch.

Alisons idea is  quite good (cus it was mine) 205's would match the stretch of your rears and let you get much lower at the front easily.

Amz - Yes they are H&R 30mm all round, I belive the wheels themselves are ET57 front and ET53 rear so with the adapters they are ET27 and ET23, I was lucky my mate did all the homework for me, trying to work out what will fit and what wont is a bit of a nightmare. Yours will end up at ET17 which sounds pretty low....well, it will stick out 6mm more than mine so possibly it wont scrub, will look good that mate. mine has scrubbed once when it bottomed out when I sped over a big dip.

Philsy - I actualy got the headlamps from 'sdobbs' on here, they aren't actualy anniversary ones, the anni's have a chrome back and black surround, whereas these are black backs and black surrounds, these are known as 'E-codes' so search those if you want some.

JPC - I know, that upset me really, I would photoshop him out if I could, haha only joking Ste Stick out tongue

ce0u1162 - I have had a badgeless grill sitting in my wardrobe that I got off ebay for £5 for about a year now! just need the bumper to sort the front out all at once. delocking will get done.

Thanks all for the comments Big Smile

Just a little update, changed the front end a bit.

Been looking for an R32 bumper for ages but when I thought I couldnt get one I decided to mod my own, debaged it, added a grill, got rid of a couple of screw holes and filled the bump strip in fully. Also, of course welded a piece in the bonnet and got the lot sprayed a week before Ultimate Dubs.

good finish out the gun by my painter.
thought it looked not bad, that swage all along the bump strip was a bit tricky to get.

Building it up though, rushing a little. the bumper got damaged
However, The same day I had the front end painted was the same day I bought a damaged genuine R32 bumper  :P
so that week in my dinners I debaged the bumper and got rid of the 5 holes for the reg plynth.
Painting got put off until Friday morning, which was a little too close for my liking as I was driving to Ultimate Dubs the next day. I built it up after work, took it home, took all 4 wheels off, give them a good clean and painted my calipers satin black to suit the wheels.

Here's how it looked at Ultimate Dubs, I also added a Leon Cupra R splitter. :)

Wheels in the spot light lol plus my calipers, they looked better in person.

Thanks to the guys on the S.O.C. stand for letting me on there stand for the day  B)

Incidently, If anyone did take a good pic of it at Ultimate Dubs, I'd be interested to see as mine either flashed back at me or were blurred

If I do owt else I will update, cheers for looking.

saw it at UDs and it looked brilliant, I commented upon how quickly you manage to find an r32 bumper seeing as you were saying about trying to find one so much.
