    Golf gt tdi 140 

    Changing through the gears  ive got a slight split second hesitation mainly 3rdand 4th change up then it moves on smoothly with plenty of power

    any1 else had similar probs or know of a solution its just over 3 years old with 53000 on it ive tried the additives eg redex which seem to work short term

    is this at 2000-2200 rpm under light throttle ? If so, seems to quite a common "feature" - VW "fixed" mine ( and it won't surprise you to know its still there )


    Current car - crap mk5 & 2008 A4 avant s-line
    Previous car - crap mk4 1.8T
    Prior to that - 2xmk2s, a mk1, a Beetle

    Getting a bit samey, ain't it ?

    the remap won't necessarily get rid of a hesitation

    Had my gt tdi 140 remapped with a bluefin and it was still hesitating but I contacted superchips and they did me a new map to sort the hesitating out and now I dont get any at all just smooth power all the way through the rev range in all gears.

    Hi Darren, 

    I have the same problem with my gt tdi 140, and its in at superchips hq this friday morning. They would like to know your bluefin no. so they have a headstart on what they did to yours, to help do mine. could you please help? I have been dealing with Micheal in technical.
