Ok well ive done a few mods here and there to my car and thought i should post up some pics.  The photos are not great.. but its all about the car lol!

    list of mods so far

    RS6 wheels

    GTI rear lights

    Ipod instal

    2, 7" screens

    Rear Spoiler

thats about it apart from tiny little things like vw rubber matts all aroud etc

did have mud flaps but decided against them.. still may go back on

Ok well here are some pics

     Photobucket" Photobucket" Photobucket Photobucket" Photobucket

There is still loads of want to do.

Lower it.  Get rub strips and door handles colour coded (but need to wait for the back to black to come off)  Rear mkv wiper.  VW centre caps for wheels.  Maybe tints.  Anni front.

But i dont know whether just to wait and maybe get a bigger engine car.

O and a new arial as some so and so nicked it last nite.. Angry

    Any comments welcome

    Chris

    Good bye golf, hello warrior!

Looks superb to me mate. A sharan badge and an Enfig aerial would finish it of perfectly.

The Sharan badge is a synch! But I'm ultra fussy about paintwork and I had a load of parts for spraying to thought it wouldn't go a miss. As it turned out there's was way better than my feeble attempt! I highly recommend the enfigs, they fit perfect and look great.

Ok have done a few more mods and thought i should post them up.

i first of all got some vw centres for my wheels.

Then it was to add a rear aero wiper to the rear, just hated the look of the old one.  still unsure wether or not to get a front one though

Then i got round to painting my sharran badge, not the best of jobs but hey, first attempt at painting...

need to polish the paint on it, or something.  bit disapointed with the top bit of the v.

and i replaced my stolen arial,

not the best of fits, but i got it off a scrap car..

will have to give it a bit of a clean tomorrow.

    any comments welcome

    Chris

Nice looking car mate, i really like that colour.

If you dont mind my asking, where did you get your rear wiper from, and how much did it set you back? Was it a new arm too, or just the blade?

got it from vwspeed.  it was £22.  i had a look around and that was the cheapest i could find it! no doubt some others will have got it for alot cheaper tho!

That's looking really good so far mate.  Nice subtle mods to a well looked after car.  Good work.

Have you thought about de-locking?  There's several kits on E-Bay at the moment for less than £20 and it will solve the security issue as well as slightly improving the look of each side of the car...

     ok time for an update

ive painted my front calipers, just waiting for two free days when i can start painting my rear ones, quite impressed with the look.  looks great looking in reflective windows at low speeds Stick out tongue lol

before someone spots it there is a wheel nut missing.

next was to start striping the car for painting

all looks a bit sorry for itself atm, but will look all good again once its all painted up Big Smile

ive got a V6 front and a cupra splitter going on (seen on another thread) however im painting the V6 front and possible the splitter, as i think this would look good, but we'll see.

its also getting a nice new mirror casing as some numpty drove into mine !

Loving the car mate, GREAT colour by the way!

Where are you based if you don't mind me asking? (Just thought I recognised the view in one of the photos - I probably don't though)

would love to drop it. but i read all these storys about a bad ride..  and dont really understand all the arb and dampers and stuff  so still un sure about that!!

im not too sure, still think about blue badges.

i might leave it for a bit so i can spend my money on other things as im skint as it cost 300 for spraying!

Got some new bulbs in the old headlights the other day

    new side lights

i really need to de-tango the indercaters.

and i also replaced the dipped lights for brighter ones

i also got some retro fit aero wipers, i really wanted hte new blades aswell but could not justify £70 for just new arms!  but they do a great job and look alot better than the orginals

i also have a bmc cda air fliter to go on.

i have a little list of what i am hopefully be doing to my car soon

    lowering (probs on jamexx coilovers)

new exhuast system probs piper because they are soo much cheaper than other ones

    15mm spacers on rear

5 or maybe 10 on front

Chipped (i know you opnly get 12bhp best, but with the induction kit and exhuast i recon i cuold get 130/135 bhp

then if i can be botherd and have enought money..

    anni side skirts

anni rear with ehuast cut out

then cup of tea job done!

    Well time for an update,

ok, i have had a bit of spraying done, got the following done,

front rubstrip smoothed and filled to look like a US one,

v6 rear valance smoothed and painted

    v6 miltek put on

    bmc cda air filter

thats about it for now i will take some pics tomrw, however, my tensioners have gone, causing my cambelt to silt, causing the values to go off timing causing them to bend... not happy.. lots of money is being wasted in geting it fixed...

il post some pics up tomorrow.

Love you car mate, Im a 1.6er too ;)

But i have to say i really wouldnt bother with a remap, another 1.6 driver on here had a milltek and the bmc cda and he only ended up with 90 bhp at the wheels.

As  i said id get some pics up, am getting quite happy with the outside now, think ill stop wasting any more money on the outside apart from maybe some coilovers.  but here are the pics, exhuast looks a little wonky so ill try and sort that out a bit.

    US rubstrip

v6 valance and slightly wonky miltek, looks really bad in this pic for some reason

    some of it in bits
