i have just called them to try and find out what it would cost to put my wife with 15 years NCB onto the golf so she can drive it when i take her car away fishing.

SOOO i call there offices and go through all that PRESS 1 for existing clients bla bla bla only to be told  WE ARE NOW CLOSED by some machine FAIR ENOUGH

However if i dial the same number and press option 4 then i get to talk to a nice lady willing to take my money and flog me a new insurance but cant do squat for what i asked!!!!!!

SO let me get this in order here Angry

You guys are willing to talk to people up to 19:00 hrs and take there bloody money and the likes of me WHO HAVE PAID ALL OF MY INSURANCE can get stuffed and wait for a decent hour to help me Beer

Now is that looking after existing clients or sitting on a phone helping NEW ONES????

    RANT!!!!!

I know how you feel andy, I have my insurance with them and had the same problem before.

Surely they are all hooked up to the same system so they prob could help if they wanted to.

We're all work with the same system but are trained in the sections we work for so i could not take service calls as my training has been quotes etc.

If there is ever a time when you or anybody on this forum that has a policy with us needs help please remember i'm on here and check daily so i will always be able to help in whatever way i can, Or there is our website which has F.A.Q on there as well.

     My 2p.

Sorry Dan - Different gripe from me but its all good feedback, and seeing as youve popped you head up....

I was insured with Flux for 2 years, excellent service, great rates, very efficient, just a general alround good experience and I recommended you guys on that basis.

I was paying a farily reasonable  £480 for a MkV Gti 200ps, up until it was sold for an AUDI S3 (8P-57 Plate).

The underwriter wouldnt cover the S3 so a new quote was prepared, £950 WTF !!!!!

Anyway, I ran my details through Confused.com and 23 out of the 25 quotes I received were cheaper than Flux!!. I got back on the phone to you guys and was told `thats the best we do mate, like it or lump it`.

I ended up paying £420 (inc insurance/protection etc). Real shame as I was prepared to pay a little bit MORE to stay with Flux because of the good experience I had but not an extra £430 !

Amazed a specialist Insurance agent were eclipsed by 23 faceless main stream insureres.

    End of moan.

    Cheers

    Paul

So you are basically saying you receive little training that can only allow you to cope with one aspect of the job? Surely that is extremely inefficient. I would have thought common sense can get you through sorting most if not all of it out - it's hardly rocket science is it?

     Hi Paul,

    Thanks for the feedback.

You certainly should not of been given that attitude so i apologise. As a broker there is only so much we can do to get the insurers to do to meet rates, It could be possible there was a high theft rate in the area of the new car etc so they were unwilling to go lower to match or beat others.

It means that we're able to give a more accurate and detailed service to customers. Giving them detailed information not guess work.

    Its worth the hassle mate.

Flux couldnt do anything for me this year but previous 2 they were very good. Not just price, but service. I had some problems with a car change which meant changing cover notes 3 times in 2 weeks and sending copies to the VW dealers etc etc.... Anyway it wasnt a problem to them and I was only charged one admin fee.

Good service is rare thing these days especially when it comes to insurance, and priceless in a claim situation.!!

    Good luck.

    Cheers

Biggest problem I found with flux (apart from the shoot business hours) is the mountain of paper work and forms you have to fill in and photo copy. No wonder these guys are cheap, other wise no one would bother with them at all IMO.

     Hi,

Yes we could do a quote for you that way. If the price was good for you we would need to contact you to go through the details etc.

Just PM me all your details and if i need any more i'll let you know.
