UNDER DOG TO TOP DOG!!

Well as most will know i changed my little 1.6 engine into a V6 and so far am happy even though the search for MORE power is in the wings and waiting.

WELL time has come to transform another stricken 1.4 into a powerhouse.

This thread will be kept up to date will as many pictures as i can to show you all that it can be worth EVERY penny if you are this way inclined and lover your car.

MANY out there will frown upon doing things like as it "not being worth it" but all i can say is why not?

we can slap big turbo s on on V6´s and GTi´s but god forbid changing a 1.4.

The base car i will be starting on has already have a fair few quid spent on it in the way of full custom R32 style cat back stainless system and FULL R32 kit so the owner who at present will remain under wraps had decided to work with me and do this amazing swap

This is the base car i have to work with so far

It started out in life just like my one did, A bottom of the range model with next to no extras on the car

and this is the EXACT engine in question

The engine comes with just about everything we need for doing the transfer along with a complete front sub frame with ALL bolt ons

like 312mm brakes and S3 steering rack

it does not come with side mounts as far as we know but this will be a good thing as we can fit a nice whopping FMIC behind the R32 front bumper

There should be a rather large parcel turning up this coming Wednesday so i can get it all planned ready to go and pick the car up on a transporter  due to it unhealthy thirst for engine oil

Well a small up date

Tomorrow some time i should be expecting a rather large pallet with the AMK all snug and warm ready for it to find it´s new home

To be honest it is not even my bloody engine and i CANT WAIT lol

I will get some pictures up as soon as i come from work so you can have something to chew on until the main course id served
