    Hey guys,

Well after posting my original alloy thread: http://www.golfmkv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53496
I'm now contimplating on the following alloys, but not sure which would look best on my black TDI:

-The VW Goal 17 inch: http://www.volkswagen-accessories.ie...t_alloy_wheels

    -BBS CO 17 inch http://www.rimstyle.com/pages/produc...BS177551124 7

    -BBS CV 17 inch
    http://www.rimstyle.com/pages/produc...BS177551124 8

    What do you guys think?
Any other suggestions for 17 inch alloys would be much appreciated also!

Nice selection there mate. I'd go with the CO's, love that style.

Why have you decided on 17's? ride quality?

    Cheers

co's for me, i know what mixitrol saying but imo you can't beat bbs's. i'd go bigger tho, at least 18's. having driven the mk5 on 18's i can say ride quality definitely wasn't comprimised

Hi fellas thanks for all the good replies, Yan, yes I'm veering towards the 17's simply due to ride quality, fuel consumption (I know I'm driving a diesel with good MPG but I wanna keep it that way, you guys know how much fuel costs these days and I don't see it getting any cheaper!)

But also veering towards 17's because I'm not looking to lower my car and I'm not sure if 18's would make my car sit too high??

In other words if someone was to really talk me into the 18's and assure me that all of the above would be hardly noticeable then I guesss I'd really be spoilt for choice with options for 18 rims, as there are so many that would look the part.

What do you guys think should I be disregarding the 18's altogether, do you think some nice 17's would be a good comprimise seeing as I'm rolling on little 15's at the mo?

Thanks once again for your input.

Maxitrol, isn't your GT TDI already lowered as standard compared to the normal TDI?

What type of alloys you got? any pics of your car?

i'd definitely go for 18's tbh. as you said loads more choice and due to that you don't have to settle for second best and as far as i know nothing is compromised. drivability i can definitely say isn't and i wouldn't think they would fuel wise either. ultimately it's your choice and as long as your happy that's all that matters

Go for the BBS CO`s or the CV`s nice light, good quality, not to big.

I have a set of the CO`S in stock for your car. I also have some VZ 031 wheels on offer as well.
