Can anyone list the service intervals for a Mk4 TDI.  I have a 2002 PD 150.

Mines had its biggy service at 60k with a cam belt change and I'm just wondering what's install for the next few years.

Also if anyone can let me know what needs to be done in each service then that would be even better Smile - Just want to make sure I'm not getting ripped off at my local garge and they are doing the service that they are supposed to be doing!!! Devil

Oi Claire, were you not suppose to be working when you posted that?! Stick out tongue

Are you on variable or fixed term servicing?

I'm sure that it says the service intervals in your manual, but I THINK if you're on fixes its oil every 10k, and full service (filters, lubrication etc) every 20k.

I might be wrong though Stick out tongue

Work whats that???  I have no idea what service schedule its on I just get it done when the light pops on! Last one was the big one at 60k where everything got changed including the Cam belt

I did pop into arnie levis's yesterday and they said just oil and filter change for this one so I think thats what I will do

It's 10000miles or 1 year (whatever is first) for fixed servicing and 20k/2yrs with variable servicing.  The will give you a 2000mile countdown when it's coming up to a service though.

I'm a bit of a mod ho, a few favourites - Bora front end, W8 light, immaculate 17" TT Alloys, twin front indicators & colour-coded headlight interiors to go with xenons, remote window closure - going to have a go at an auto-dimming/rain sensitive mirror soon!

Thank you Benjie I think my car must be on fixed servicing as I've had it since 47k and I have done 3 services so far!!! and I'm just over 70k now

I suppose I'll just keep doing all the oil and filters on it for each service.

Are there any more big services coming up which need more work doing?

And coolant every 2 years isn't it?  Have a look in your sevice book as it says everything that should be done and when in there.  If not, ask away and I'll let you know what's in my haynes manual (It's for a non-pd, but the servicing will be the same!)

Paul - leave her alone, she's not the only one who ends up on the forum in the day!
